This thermostat is compatible with both 120VAC / 240VAC, 50/60Hz. The maximum current for either voltage is 15A. The maximum power wattage is 120V/1800W or 240V/3600W and it complies with the requirements of the Standard(s) for Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters (CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 144.1) and is identified with the cETL Listed Mark.
It has a Floor and Air Sensor, built-in GFCI, and GFCI function test. The thermostat contains a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter GFCI to protect against electric shock in the event of a short circuit. After installation, the GFCI function should be tested to ensure safe operation. It can also help prevent electrical fires and reduce their severity by interrupting the flow of current.
If the GFCI trips, it indicates an electricity leakage. To resolve the issue, turn off the main power and re-connect the wires. Make sure there is no electricity leakage up to 5mA, otherwise, the thermostat will sound an alarm for safety. Also, check the floor cable for any short circuit or leakage. Then, verify and toggle the GFCI switch on the side of the thermostat. If the switch doesn't work, access the hidden menu and disable the GFCI alert.
The thermostat features a large LCD digital display with backlight, making it easy to read in various lighting conditions. It is a 7-day programmable line volt thermostat for electrical heating. The 7-day program scheduling helps to maximize comfort while reducing operating costs. The ON/STANDBY switch allows for thermostat shutdown at the end of the heating season.
This thermostat is universally compatible with existing radiant floor heating systems. It is UL listed and includes a self-testing Class A GFCI for protection against electrocution due to current leakage. It has a load capacity of 15amps and comes with a 5-year limited warranty.
When the thermostat is in use, please set the target temperature higher than the current room temperature to activate the heating. Then, push the button on the side to test the GFCI function.
