About this item

  • This Underfloor Radiant Heating thermostat is compatible with both 120VAC / 240VAC, 50/60Hz power sources. The maximum current for either voltage is 15A. The maximum power wattage is 120V/ 1800W or 240V/ 3600W. It conforms to the requirements of the Standard(s) for Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters (CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 144.1) and is identified with the cETL Listed Mark. It includes a Floor and Air Sensor, built-in GFCI and GFCI function test.
  • The thermostat contains a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) to protect against electric shock due to a short circuit. After installation, it is important to test this function for proper and safe operation. If the GFCI trips, there is an electricity leakage detected. The main power should be shut down and the wires reconnected to ensure there is no electricity leakage up to 5mA, or the thermostat will alarm for safety. The floor cable should also be checked for a short circuit or leakage. If the GFCI is not working, access the hidden menu and turn off the GFCI alert.
  • The thermostat features a large LCD digital display with a backlight for easy reading in various lighting conditions. It is a 7-day programmable line volt thermostat for electrical systems, with an ON/STANDBY switch for shutdown at the end of the heating season. It is universally compatible with existing radiant floor heating systems and is UL listed. It has a self-testing Class A GFCI to protect against the risk of electrocution caused by current leakage and has a load capacity of 15amps. It also comes with a 5-year limited warranty.
  • To activate the heating, set the target temperature higher than the current room temperature and push the button on the side to test the GFCI function. The GFCI function can only be triggered when the thermostat's relay is working. For further questions, feel free to ask.
